Super late response for MISANTHROPE

Okay so i didn't remember my password for a while, Got it eventually but for the moment the response. Well Misanthrope was a interesting read the names were a bit difficult but the events that happen through out was pretty good. The names of the characters we kind annoying i honestly was confused at certain points. I would mistake other characters but i got it eventually.Alceste is the main character and is kinda a weirdo and kinda has a messed up sense on the world. Alceste is in the camp of brutal honesty, which puts him at odds with Oronte when he correctly identifies his insipid poetry as awful, and with his love Celimene , who lives her life by the opposite code. Celimene delights in playing her suitors against each other, saying one thing to their faces and another behind their backs. Meanwhile, her cousin Eliante  and her “friend” Arsinoe try desperately to dissuade Alceste from his affections, admiring him as much for his honesty as others admire Celimene for her coquettishness. Sexual politics, it seems, were not so different in the 1600s–according to this play, women are either angels or demons in the eyes of men, depending on their actions. Though Alceste knows the absolute irrational nature of his love for Celimene, it nonetheless exists, and confirms for her the success of her approach to romance. In the end Celimene is kinda easy and ends up with no one which was kinda funny to me in the end.

Review of a Doll's house

Well from what i understand this entire play happens in a living room, Torvald and his wife nora live a pretty decent life and it become better when Torvald get a promotion. Okay that cool basic stuff and then people come into the picture first Dr.Rank who also comes in with a old friend of Nora from there youth her name was Kristine Linde, okay cool so things are fine and dandy but it begins to get a bit odd. Things like hidden depts , friends asking for lots of money to help there finacial problems. Im sorry but am i the only person who if i personally had a large sum of money would talk to almost no one.People always have something that they need money, but thats me. It starts to get weirder as the play keeps going things like people secretly being ill, blackmail, problems with debt. More characters come into the picture like Krogstad , This Character is very seedy and is kinda a jerk. He serves as the person who just screws everyones life up. But either way i wasn't all that intrested in the play. To much drama for my taste but it was the dry drama that i wasn't to intrested in.
look anthony hopkins played Noras husband Trovald only to get screwed over when she ends up only getting blackmailed sorry but to me this play was a pass.
