Reading Response for True West

Oh man this is a good one this is my Reading Response for a True West , In this play two estranged brothers Austin and Lee who meet up after not seeing each other for about 5 years.  Austin is the younger of the two and is trying to become a writer and at the time was working on a screenplay. Lee the older brother is a drifter and a thief who was living in the desert for some time. Since the siblings are not on good terms Austin  attempts to bury the hatchet with Lee and appease his sort of over bearing attitude. In the play you can tell that Lee is the more aggressive one while Lee is trying to just appease his older brother who continues to act like kinda a jerk to him. In the play there are multiple moments where Lee just acts out and almost beats on his younger brother who isn't some what timid. In the end of the play things get kinda weird with both their mothers house where most of it takes place is ransacked and their mother returns. Its continues on from there with more a bit more weirdness and the brothers just staring at each other while the lights fade

Reilly is Lee and Philip Seymour Hoffman is Austin. the way you can tell is the emotions in the face, you can see the emotion the faces its obvious who is who.

response for Zoo story

After reading Zoo story i thought about how intresting the story was actually i personally didnt expect things to take a turn and someone getting stabbed. In a Zoo story the play is set in a park bench in front of a zoo, The characters are minamal  the two characters are Peter and jerry. Peter is a middle-class executive in a publishing company with a wife and kids. Jerry on the other hand is a isolated and a disheartened person. The play is about jerry who is looking for a meaningful conversation with another person, and he disturbs Peter in his state of relaxation,During the play Jerry conts. to conversate with Peter about his stories and bothers him with multiple things. Eventually things become more crazy and due to a arguement and Jerry carrying a knife one of them gets stabbed im not gonna spoil that.
